At the moment, I'm using Windows Movie Maker ... it works for audio only as well as video.  That'll give you a .wma sound file which you can't upload to podbean, but you can easily import it into iTunes, where it will be automatically converted to an MP3 file.

BTW, I downloaded the 'Pamela' software from Skype ... means I can (read should!) be able to record conversations ... possibly interview people over Skype??</description>
